My name is Rachelle Bauerle, and I am a Democrat running for the position of County Clerk Recorder in Madison County.
I was born and raised in Granite City, Illinois, and received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SIUE in 2006. I currently live in Edwardsville, Illinois, with my husband and two children. Since 2020, I have served as an election judge, gaining valuable experience in Madison County elections.
As a near lifelong resident of Madison County, I am motivated to see positive changes in our community. I believe our elected officials work for us and have a responsibility to act as public servants to all constituents while being good stewards of our public funds. Our policies and procedures should reflect what is best for the people of Madison County, ensuring that no one is left in the dark about what is happening. Important information regarding Madison County elections should be easy to find and understand, as an engaged community is a strong community.
I know I can bring a level of energy and fresh ideas to the office of County Clerk Recorder, all while maintaining efficiency and staying within budget. I want the people of Madison County to be seen and heard. Together, we can build a better Madison County.
Stay up to date on my upcoming appearances as your County Clerk Recorder, including community meetups and speaking engagements about Madison County elections. I’d love to meet you, hear your concerns, and share my vision for our community—see where I’ll be next!
